Renee Choquette D.C.

Dr. Renee Choquette is a native of Sloan, Iowa. She attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa receiving her degree in Athletic Training. Renee played softball for the Red Raiders and her team earned a spot to attend Nationals in her senior year. She then attended Chiropractic School at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, graduating with honors in 2021 with her Doctor of Chiropractic – Sports Emphasis.

Outside of the clinic, Renee enjoys spending her free time with her four animals. She has two German Shepherds, Blu and Finnegan, as well as two cats, Little Foot and Bones. Renee also loves spending time outdoors whether that’s hiking with her dogs or camping with her friends. Renee also loves spending quality time with her husband John and family members. Some of Renee’s hobbies include reading Stephen King novels, knitting, and playing video games.

Jenn Flynn, N.D.

Dr. Flynn grew up in the Midwest with a passion for science and medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point but was discouraged by the practice of medicine in the conventional sense and joined the US Army for 8 years serving as a MEDEVAC pilot.

The discovery of Naturopathic Medicine was serendipitous and provided a means to pursue holistic medicine and genuine wellness. She graduated from Bastyr University with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and embraced the medical philosophy of docere, doctor as teacher; empowering patients to own their health and wellness journey.

Dr. Flynn completed her residency in Vermont, providing primary care and chronic pain management services at an integrative health clinic. She started a private practice in Bellingham Washington, following her residency. New to the Lake Superior area, she is establishing a Naturopathic practice in Superior Wisconsin with a focus on whole-person wellness.

Dr. Flynn is a mother, partner, and veteran; she enjoys working with patients of all ages and walks of life. Naturopathic Medicine believes the body is an intelligent organism capable of self-healing when imbalances are corrected and obstacles to cure are removed. Wisconsin is a state new to Naturopathic licensure, joining 23 other states which recognize the value of this unique medical approach to patient care. As providers we are still seeking prescriptive authority through legislative action.

Kim offers therapeutic bodywork that’s as energizing as it is grounding. Her space is inspired by the tropics—calm, tranquil, and healing. Whether you’re an athlete looking to recover, someone navigating chronic pain, or simply in need of deep rest, she's here to help you reconnect with your body and breath.

We would like to welcome Kim (Hamsher) to our team.

Some of you may remember Kim from her younger (spicier) years—working at Regis in the Mariner Mall, Video Vision, or even Norm’s! After 23 years of traveling, studying, healing, and growing, she’s come full circle and returned to the North—this time with a whole new set of skills; an MFA, a decade in haunted tourism, and a heart full of purpose.

She originally trained in massage at Charles of Italy in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Later deepening her journey with specialized training in Ayurveda and Thai massage during several immersive stays in India with her husband’s family. Her approach blends these ancient traditions with an added background in health & fitness, teaching Bollywood Dance, hospice/ senior care, and teaching Reiki… creating a unique style that’s both intuitive, colorful and deeply restorative.

Shena Fesenmaier

Shena Fesenmaier is a Certified Light Therapist and has a background in the health field as a Registered Nurse. She will work with you to develop a plan of healing that best fits your needs. Shena is part of the team at Perennial Health and is the manager of the Superior, WI clinic location located here inside Superior Chiropractic!

Light therapy (photobiomodulation) has been used for healing for centuries, and the Firefly has combined this ancient wisdom with newer technology developed by NASA. The Firefly accelerates the healing of a wide variety of chronic health conditions and soft tissue injuries. It can relieve pain, reduce inflammation, promote wound healing, help the body kill bacteria, fungi, mold, viruses, & parasites, provide therapy for neurologic conditions, gut & brain health, plus much more.

Another great tool that is used is the ZYTO bioresonance scan and therapy. ZYTO is a wellness assessment tool that measures how your body responds to different stimuli using gentle biofeedback measurements similar to what’s used in stress-response monitoring. The feedback obtained helps guide personalized, client-centered wellness strategies in regards to supplements and nutrients, areas of imbalance in the body, toxins/heavy metals, pathogens, food sensitivities, and even emotions. These biosurveys can be helpful for those seeking general wellness all the way to clients with very complex health conditions such as chronic Lyme to better reach their health goals.
